Our Story
Secure IT was founded in 2005 by Andy Herbert, our Managing Director, alongside his friend and former colleague Brook Dyson, who now serves as Technical Director. Since then, the company has grown primarily through recommendations and long-standing client relationships. Some of the organisations we support have worked with Secure IT for close to two decades.
That growth has been made possible by a skilled and approachable team with a shared goal: to make business technology easier to understand, manage and secure. We provide clear, practical guidance so our clients can concentrate on running and growing their organisations with confidence.

Andy Herbert
Managing Director
Andy founded Secure IT in 2005 and has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He leads the company’s direction and remains closely involved in maintaining the long-term client relationships Secure IT has built over the years.
Brook Dyson
Technical Director
Brook co-founded Secure IT alongside Andy. He leads the company’s technical delivery and engineering standards, helping ensure every solution is designed and delivered to a consistently high standard.
Andy Richardson
Service Delivery Manager
Andy joined Secure IT in 2020 and brings 20 years of experience in IT service delivery. He oversees the way support is delivered and helps ensure clients receive a consistent and dependable service.
Richard Pearce
Senior IT Technician
Richard joined Secure IT in 2019 and brings more than 25 years of experience in IT and customer support. He specialises in cyber security, helping organisations strengthen their systems and work towards Cyber Essentials certification.
Sam Webb
Senior IT Technician
Sam has worked in IT since 2019 and focuses on making technology easier for people to use. He supports users, troubleshoots technical issues and helps maintain systems so they continue working reliably.
